We are looking for an experienced service manager to manage a community endoscopy service. Individuals Job Purpose Include: To develop service strategies to enable future service development. To monitor & evaluate performance & maintain the registration of the Care Quality Commission as the Registered manager. To work in conjunction with the Finance Manager to ensure all CCG reporting is delivered according to set targets. To liaise with the Caldicott Lead in maintaining compliance with Information Governance & Data Protection.

Requirements: Manage the Berkshire West Community Endoscopy Service. Keep abreast of current affairs & identify potential threats & opportunities. Develop service strategy including ideas for development within the local community. Manage all aspects of staff employment, including contracts, professional indemnity cover & DBS checks. Ensure regular appraisal of all staff. Ensure that performance is monitored & evaluated against CCG targets and CQC lines of enquiry. Meet weekly with the Clinical Lead & Deputy Service Manager to discuss & inform on Service performance. Lead in conjunction with a nominated Chair, & the deputy service manager, Quarterly Clinical Governance meetings. Organise regular Clinical & Service staff meetings to ensure the effective communication of issues associated with the day-to-day running of the Service, and to ensure the efficient implementation of Service development changes. Ensure support given to the deputy service manager, the Clinical & Administration team. Maintain comprehensive Service performance analyses, including clinic statistics, cash flow / budget performance in conjunction with the Finance Manager and patient experience feedback. Maintain compliance with all Data Protection Regulations and Information Governance. Develop & maintain effective internal & external communication with local partners. Liaise with Berkshire West CCG on contractual, financial and data requirement issues in conjunction with the Finance Manager Liaise with the Host hospital to maintain a good relationship & establish JAG accreditation status for the service.
